Rules for Registration
1. All APHA registered paint horses (colored and solid paint bred) born in the state of Washington are eligible.
2. The completed registration application, copy of the horse’s APHA papers and the proper fee must be sent to the WA Bred Paint Registry. Registrations will also be accepted at the shows.
3. A “certificate” will be issued stating the horse is registered with the WA Bred Paint Registry. This “certificate” must be presented at each show with entry fees.
4. All horses must be registered with the WA Bred Paint Registry before allowed to show in any WA Bred Classes.
5. 2009 – Classes will be held for: HALTER – All Age Mares, All Age Gledings & All Age Stallions. PERFORMANCE – All Age Western Pleasure, All Age Hunter Under Saddle, All Age Trail & Yearling Longeline. Class fees are $7.50 per judge/class.
6. Class points will be awarded using the NWCC Point System. Please see webstie for award breakdowns.
7. NEW – To earn a Year-End Award, a horse must show under 8 judges and earn the higher number of points over another horse showing in the same field.
Failure to abide by the WA Bred rules will result in the loss of WA Bred Points, class or year-end awards and/or forfeiture of all entry fees.
